Christmas-morning fire

There was a big, raging fire in the early hours of Christmas Day in our neighbourhood, two blocks from where we live. It went on for many, many hours, and basically destroyed an entire block on the south side of Broadway between Main Street and Kingsway, including the store where we used to buy our vitamins and supllements!

Michaela got interviewed about the fire for news radio, and John posted this blog item about it for work, followed by this one (with a photo by Michaela).

Needless to say we didn't get much sleep on Christmas Eve!

Unfortunately, dessert does not like Wolfy. We have now learned that sending him to bed with that much sugar coursing through his system is a good idea only if the plan is to keep him up until 2 a.m.

Gran's birthday!

On November 22 we took gran out to celebrate her birthday at a restaurant in North Van called Munch. Wolfy loved it there because he got to run around and play with toys while we were eating. But he didn't love having to wear his fancy new dress shoes.
